Did you know...?

This is also a false skeleton. Note how although he has a skull, he is held up by invisible powers against his will. You can see the white outlines behind him which are the small amounts of voodoo magic seeping into the corporeal realm.

Did you know...?

This man is not a skeleton, this man is a total fraud. Please be careful around false skeletons.

Skeleton

Did you know...?

Bones are strong and rigid, and built to withstand a lot of force — pound for pound, they are stronger than steel. But, surprisingly, they are not the hardest substance in the body.
That title goes to another part of the skeletal system: tooth enamel. This substance protects the crown of teeth and owes its strength to its high concentration of minerals (calcium salts in particular), according to the National Institutes of Health.

Did you know...?

The longest bone in the human body is the thigh bone called the femur.

There are a number of skeletal disorders, osteoporosis is a bone disease that increases the chance of fractures, scoliosis is a curvature of the spine, while arthritis is an inflammatory disease that damages joints.

Make sure to rest your skeleton!

The axial skeleton part of the human skeleton has 80 bones. It includes the vertebral column, the rib cage and the skull and helps us maintain our upright posture, by spreading the weight in the head, and upper areas down to the lower areas near the hips.
